Behind the Eyeball

I recently underwent eye surgery and have been going to routine post-op visits.  A friend gave me this to commemorate the ordeal. On a recent appointment, I brought the "eyeball" with me and went to the "lost and found" desk and, trying to be cute, told the attendant that I'd found it in the parking lot. Her response was unexpected: 

"Keep it" she said, "Those things are lying around all over the place"!
