The Dockmaster

With an outsized personality, our Dockmaster oversees all of The Blue Lagoon's activities. In this regard, she wears many hats besides the sombrero as her responsibilities include managing boat rentals, the picnic areas, ticket sales for the sight-seeing flights, and port security. This may seem like a lot of work but ever since the mines shut down visitors have been few and far between. She also teaches remedial English at a local community college in the off-season. That makes for quite a resume. She has just recently returned from a week-long training course at Fort Sill, OK where she took a refresher course at the Army Artillery School. Did I mention that she also mans the cannon as part of her port security mission? That cannon is also used as a starting gun for the annual sailing regatta.
